VERNA
Description: This variety of unknown origin has a good fruit size and shows at the peduncle a more or less distinct “neck”. The skin is quiet coarse and thick and has a big navel. The fruit pulp disposes of a good juice content and less seeds. The Verna is a variety of two crops. The first (main-) blossom is in Spring, before the tree produces in August a second blossom, which is marketed under the names Rodrejos and Verdelli.
